Round Rock ISD’s Gifted and Advanced Academic Services is hosting a Parent Conference to provide information, discussion, and support for parents of TAG and Advanced Academic Services students.
The Parent Conference will be held Saturday, February 4 at Walsh Middle School, 3850 Walsh Ranch Blvd. Round Rock. Check in, coffee and meet and greet will begin at 8:15 a.m. The keynote speaker and breakout sessions are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. through 12 p.m.
The target audience is parents of gifted and high ability learners seeking advanced academic options. Some topics might include social and emotional, perfectionism, design thinking, ALLPS, college credit in high school, STEM opportunities, enrichment, self advocacy, executive functioning, and many more!
The cost to attend is $15 per person. Reduced rates are available for parents with students enrolled in the federally funded free and reduced meal program. Contact your campus TAG specialist to see if you are eligible.

The Gifted and Advanced Academic Parent Conference will be immediately followed by the District’s Summer Enrichment Fair. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with vendors from 12 to 2 p.m. to learn about District sponsored summer camps and classes including: academics, art, chess, coding, music, personal enrichment, music, science, sports and athletics and much more!
