Dual Credit with McMurry University

In addition to Austin Community College, Round Rock ISD also partners with McMurry University for dual credit asynchronous online courses, which may be taken in fall, spring, or summer. Students are responsible for the course fee, which is $200 per 3 hour course and $300 per 4 hour course. All books, fees, and course resources are built into the online platform and included in the fee. In some instances a campus may also be able to offer an in person course with a high school teacher who is credentialed to provide the college course and approved by the university.

Students do not need to meet TSI prior to enrolling in a course, but do need approval from their counselor as a student in good standing. Students who successfully complete (pass) a dual credit course with McMurry University are granted automatic admission to the university and receive a $1000 scholarship if they choose to attend.
